When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to the respondent to extend the period of lease for the further period of two years from 07.12.2019 to 05.12.2021 and to fix the lease amount for the year 2017-18, therefore, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petitioner has become infructuous.

3. The submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents is recorded. Since there is no representation for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
