ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of inquiry pertaining to the Crime No.42 of 2018. 2 It is seen that the petitioner has been called for an enquiry with regard to a property dispute. The respondent police cannot interfere in the cases of this nature, since it is purely civil in nature.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondent to conduct an enquiry and it is made clear that if the respondent finds that it is a property dispute, the respondent police shall relegate the parties to approach the appropriate Civil Court.
