ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the first respondent relating to the passing of the impugned order issued in proceedings No.Po.Thu.Na.Ka.No.E2/29725/2018 dated 07.12.2018 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondents to promote the Page No.2 of 6

petitioner as Assistant Revenue Officer with effect from 15.05.2010 with all monetary and other service benefits.

2. Heard Mr.R.Singaravelan, learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Gopinath, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The impugned order has been passed on the ground that the petitioner has been imposed with several punishments in view of the several disciplinary proceedings initiated against him. As two of the punishments against the petitioner is set aside in view of the order passed in W.P.Nos.12407 & 9299 of 2018, the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner in view of the above change of circumstances and pass orders afresh by reconsidering the avenues of promotion for the petitioner.

4. In the result, this Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned order passed by the first respondent in proceedings Page No.3 of 6

No.Po.Thu.Na.Ka.No.E2/29725/2018 dated 07.12.2018 is set aside and the respondents 1 to 3 are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner in view of the above change of circumstances and pass orders afresh by reconsidering the avenues of promotion for the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
