This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/A1 to call for the entire records connected with the First Information Report in Crime No.183/2014 dated 28.02.2014 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaint of the defacto complainant/third respondent the respondent police has registered a case on 28.02.2018 in Crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
No.183 of 2014 for offence under Sections 147, 148, 294 B, 323, 506 (ii) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, 1988. After investigation final report has been filed on 12.02.2019 and RCS Notice served to the third respondent/defacto complainant stating that FAD (Further Action Dropped) and the closure report filed before the XXII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai. The third respondent/defacto complainant also given a letter seeking withdrawal of the complaint.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the copy of the Further Action Dropped Report and the letter of the third respondent/defacto complainant and the acknowledgment of the third respondent/defacto complainant dated 21.02.2019. In view of the same nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. 4.In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
