Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondents 3 to 6 to continue to engage the services of the members of the Petitioner-Associations in the 6th respondent-Unit till a new Unit is established after obtaining all necessary approval and clearances from the concerned authorities and to regularize and engage them in the new Unit as and when the same is established.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners/Unions submit that the writ petition may be dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the workers concerned to raise a dispute with regard to the subject matter that is being agitated in the present writ petition. An endorsement has also been made to the said effect on the writ petition. Recording the said endorsement and granting such liberty to the petitioners, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
