By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondent to give permission to conduct a cultural programme (Adalum Padalum) schedule to be held on 01.01.2019 at "Shri Mariamman Temple" at Moolapalayam, Erode - 638002 by considering his representation dated 30.11.2018.

The Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation given by the petitioner dated 30.11.2018 has been considered by the respondent and rejected for the reasons mentioned therein on 20.12.2018. Hence, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.
