The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2017 and consequently issue passport in his favour.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that during the pendency of this writ petition, the subsequent application filed by the petitioner was taken into consideration and the same was also closed and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands closed, as no further orders need be passed. No costs.
