Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitionier's request for conversion of the school site as demarcated in Letter No.L1/22326, dated 20.07.2001 and approval No.39 of 2001 on the file of the respondent pertaining to the school site in S.F.Nos.43/1, 2 & 44/7 in Vengaivasal Village. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation for conversion of land from school site to residential plots.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that earlier, the petitioner has filed an application for conversion of the area demarcated for school into residential plots, and that was rejected by the respondent on various grounds. Now, all the deficiency pointed out by the respondents have been fulfilled. Hence, the petitioner has made a fresh representation on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

03.10.2018 before the respondent for conversion of the land from school site to residential plots. But, so far, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondent. Therefore, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3. Mr.P.S.Ganesh, learned standing counsel for respondent takes notice for the respondent.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass suitable orders on merits on or before 31.01.2019. In the result, the present Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
