Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2018 as per the provisions of Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014 made for granting permission/ Certificate of Vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's pushcart bunk shop near Aswini Hospital (Door No.49/024), Kasthuri Rangan Road, Chennai-600 018 wherein selling prepared food items.

For Petitioner : Mr.R.Kamaraj For Respondents : Mrs.Karthikaa Ashok, Standing Counsel for R1 & R2 COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation seeking to run the bunk shop.

According to the petitioners, they are running a small bunk shop and they have submitted representations dated 07.12.2018 respectively seeking a permission to run the bunk shop before the 2nd respondent. But, so far, the applications were not considered. Hence, these Writ Petitions have been filed by the petitioners.

3. Considering the limited nature of prayer sought in these Writ Petitions, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' representation and pass suitable orders on merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. With the said direction, the present Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
