Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to register the Sale Deed Pending Document No.100/2018, SRO, Pammal dated 01.11.2018 in respect of the properties in Gramanatham Old S.No.47/2, New S.No.335/12 - 420 sq.ft., situate at Sivasankar Nagar, Pozhichallur, Chennai and thatched hut therein in accordance with the provisions of Indian Registration Act and also release the same.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to register the Sale Deed Pending Document No.100/2018 on the file of the respondent dated 01.11.2018 in respect of the properties in Gramanatham Old S.No.47/2, New S.No.335/12- 420 sq.ft., situate at Sivasankar Nagar, Pozhichallur, Chennai and thatched hut in accordance with the provisions of Indian Registration Act and to release the same to the petitioner.

2.When the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing on 14.08.2020, this Court, recording the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, adjourned the matter to 28.08.2020, enabling the petitioner to produce the necessary documents before the respondent and on submission of the same, directed to register the document.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing today (i.e.) 03.09.2020, the learned counsel on either side submitted that pursuant to the orders of this Court dated 14.08.2020, the respondent had registered the Sale Deed and released the document to the petitioner.
