The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2018 in accordance with law and direct the 2nd respondent to issue Patta in the Natham Poramboke land bearing Survey No.51, measuring about 0.4 cents situated at Inam Agaram Village, Thiruvalandurai Post, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered so far.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 2nd respondent to consider and decide, based on the merits of the matter. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the 2nd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass orders on the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
