PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to issue the direction to the respondents for not to harass and not to disturb the petitioner residence and his family members.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members in the name of enquiry.
2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.
3. It is seen that the petitioner has been called for an enquiry with regard to a civil dispute. The petitioner has filed a Suit in O.S.No.5129 of 2018, which was pending before the City Civil Court, Chennai.
4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to conduct an enquiry and it is made clear that if the first respondent finds that it is a civil dispute, the first respondent police shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
relegate the parties to approach the appropriate civil Court.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
