O R D E R

The captioned writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to quash the proceedings dated 17.12.2018 passed by the respondent. By the said proceedings, the petitioner's candidature for the post of Agricultural Officer (Extension) under the physically disabled category was rejected on the ground that, in her application, she had stated that she was suffering from a hearing disability instead of a locomotor disability.

2. This Court, by order dated 21.12.2018, permitted the petitioner to participate in the counselling process for selection to the said post under the physically disabled category. However, it was directed that the result of the petitioner shall not be published without the leave of this Court.

3. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 29.01.2026, the respondent published the petitioner's result and placed the same before this Court. The result reveals that the petitioner secured 139.50 marks out of 500 Page Nos.2/4

marks, whereas the last candidate selected under the said category had secured 198.50 marks. Therefore, the petitioner's marks are less than those of the last selected candidate and, consequently, she is not entitled to seek appointment to the said post.

4. In view of the above, the captioned writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
