Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records relating to FIR in Crime No.11 of 2018 dated 03.10.2018 on the file of the All Women Police Station, Tindivanam and quash the same.

ORDER
The petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.11 of 2018 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police.
2. The FIR has been registered against the petitioner for an alleged offence under Sections 417, 376, 506(2) and Section 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation at this stage.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, at the time when the marriage was arranged, the petitioner came to know that the defacto complainant is having contact with some other person and only on that reason, the marriage was stopped. This is a fact, which needs to be investigated by the respondent police and only the investigation will reveal the truth or otherwise of the claim made by the petitioner. That exercise cannot be done by this Court.

4. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
