The petitioner, who has lost the Election has filed the present Original Application before this Court. Since, there is no appearance on her behalf, after notice, this Court has set aside her ex-parte order, dated 04.11.2016.

2. This present application is filed to set aside the ex-parte order, dated 04.11.2016 and to permit the applicant/12th Respondent (T.Muthu Selvai) to participate in the Election Petition.

3. Considering the reason attributed by the petitioner for the delay and being a candidate, to give opportunity for her to place the facts before this Court. Hence, the Original Application No.1186 of 2018 filed by the applicant/12th Respondent, to set aside the ex parte order is allowed. Therefore, the Counter filed by the 12th respondent/MuthuSelvi is take on file.
