Contempt Petition is filed under Sec.11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to initiate contempt proceedings against the respondent herein under Sec.11 of Contempt of Court Act, 1971 for willful disobedience and discourteous towards the orders/direction of this Hon'ble Court in W.P. O R D E R

This Court by an order dated 13.08.2018 directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's application seeking for regularisation of unapproved layout and pass orders

within a period of 12 weeks. Since the order has not been complied with, the petitioner has come up with this Contempt Petition.

Today, Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that already the respondent had passed an order dated 12.11.2018 rejecting the petitioner's claim and also produced the copy of the said order.

In the said circumstances, the order passed by this Court in W.P. 20204 of 2018 dated 13.08.2018 has been complied with. However, the petitioner has any grievance against the order passed by the respondent, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the same in the manner known to law. In the result, the present Contempt Petition stands closed.
