This petition is filed to condone the delay of 298 days in filing the appeal in C.M.A.SR.No.146409 of 2018.

2.The 1st respondent remained exparte before the Tribunal and hence, notice to the 1st respondent is dispensed with.

3.Mrs.R.Sreevidhya, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent/Insurance Company.

4.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 298 days is condoned and the petition is ordered. It is made clear that the petitioners shall not be entitled for any interest for the delay period on the enhanced award amount.
