(through video conference) Heard Mr. V.Raghavachari, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mrs. A.B.Reehana Regum, Learned Government Advocate appearing for the First and Second Respondents and Mr. K.Sathish Kumar, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Fourth to Sixth Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Petitioner seeks to restrain the Respondents from conducting any liquor business in the premises situated at Plot No.6, Patel Road, Ram Nagar, Coimbatore, as made in the representation dated 17.12.2018 in that regard. 3.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the Learned Counsel for the Fourth to Sixth Respondents that he has been informed by letter in Na.Ka.No.2028/(71)/2018/Aarvi-5 dated 28.10.2020 that the proposal for conducting any liquor business at the said location has been dropped and he has also produced a copy of that letter, which has been placed on record. 4.

In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition.
