Contemnor Prayer: Suo Motu Criminal Contempt Proceedings initiated against the Contemnor herein as per the order of the Hon'ble High Court, dated 31.07.2024 made in Suo Motu Criminal Cont.P.No.2739 of 2018. For Petitioner : Mr. Suhrith Parthasarathy in both petition For contemnor : V. Narayanan in both petition COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) As per order of this Court dated 31.07.2024 in Contempt No.2739 of 2018, the first contemnor, namely Mr.M.Baskaran, was exonerated from the contempt proceedings and second contemnor, namely, Mr. M.Lal Bagadur, was dismissed as abated.
2. The undertaking given by the contemnor that he will not indulge in any such activities of raising personal allegation against the Hon'ble Judges and the Court proceedings, and further made an unconditional apology for the act already done. This Court is of the considered opinion that no further
proceedings are required. The condemner is already aged about 77 years old and practising as a lawyer for a long number of years.
3. Taking note of all the facts and circumstances, the both the Contempt Petitions are closed.
