O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings initiated by the respondent against the petitioners for an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.

2. It is seen from records that the complaint was filed in the year 2017 and already the trial has commenced and PW1, DW1 and DW2 have been examined. This Court does not want to interfere with the proceedings at this stage and it is left open to the petitioner to raise all the grounds before the Court below and the Court shall consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law.

3. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The Court below is directed to complete the proceedings in C.C.No.203 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
