ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus forbearing the first respondent from in any manner entertaining / recognizing the respondent Nos.3 to 5 as the representatives of the petitioner Union as the representatives of the Government employees.

2. The grievance of the petitioner happened in the year 2019. At that point of time, it is claimed that one Selvaraj is the President and the petitioner is the General Secretary and the respondent Nos.3 to 5 were not the office bearers and they should not be entertained. The relevant cause of action as well as the period of election of the petitioner Union is now over.

3. As such, keeping open the rights of the parties to be agitated afresh, if any cause of action arises, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 24.02.2025 : no grs To
