This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.12.2016.
2.According to the petitioner, a stage carriage permit was issued to his father late K.C.Maran, in respect of the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-45-AT-6124. The petitioner's father died on 12.08.2016. After the demise of his father, the petitioner submitted an application dated 14.11.2016 for transferring the stage carriage permit in favour of one K.M.Anbarasu.
Subsequently, the petitioner has made an application before the respondent on 29.12.2016, requesting the respondent to permit him to withdraw the earlier application https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
dated 14.11.2016. But, the said application was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the present writ petition. 3.Earlier, notice was ordered to the respondent. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, Mr.D.Raja, the learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent, on instructions submitted that now the petitioner's wife and his children and family members filed objection before the respondent for returning the documents to the petitioner and in this regard, the petitioner was asked to appear before the respondent for enquiry and the enquiry was posted on 15.02.2019. 4.Considering the fact that the enquiry has also been initiated by the respondent, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent for the enquiry on 15.02.2019. The respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on 15.02.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
