This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate and file a final report in Crime No. 2765 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 29.10.2018, no final report has been filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation has been completed and a final report has also been filed before the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai on 18.07.2018 and cognizance is yet to be taken.
