COMMON PRAYER: Petitions filed under Section 25 of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control Act, 18 of 1960 as amended by Act 1/4

23/1973 and Act 1 of 1980, seeking to set aside the Judgement and decree dated 21.08.2018 passed in RCA.No.595,596 and 597 of 2004 by the learned VIII Judge (Rent Control Appellate Authority) Court of Small Causes Chennai, confirming the Judgment and Decree dated 27.02.2004 passed by the learned XI Judge, Court of small causes Madras (Rent Controller), in RCOP No.1976, 1977 and 1978 of 2002, and allow the above CRP by setting aside the orders passed by both the Courts below and fix the fair rent at Rs.1000/- per month.

For Petitioner : Mr.K.P.Ashok For R1 & R2 : Mr.S.William COMMON ORDER The tenant of three different buildings of the same landlord has come forward with these three revisions challenging the order of the Tribunals below, fixing the fair rent.

2.In the meantime, the landlord has laid an eviction petition on the ground of wilful default. This Court is informed that both the sides have since compromised and the tenant had paid the entire arrears of rent as per the fair rent fixed and to that extent, a joint memo of compromise dated 25.04.2022 2/4

has also been filed.

3.The said memo of compromise is recorded and taken on file. These Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of in terms of compromise entered into between the parties dated 25.04.2022. No costs.
