O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to directing the respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the petitioner's representation made to the respondents vide letter dated 11.12.2018 to protect his life and property and the life and safety of the workmen, and for the peaceful continuation of the laying of roads in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Gudalur region.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint received by the petitioner dated 11.12.2018, the respondent police issued C.S.R.No.201 of 2018. On the said CSR the 2nd respondent conducted a detailed enquiry with the counter parties, in which the counter parties have undertaken that they will not disturb the peaceful continuation of the laying of roads in the Gudalur region by the petitioner. On such undertaking it was closed.

3. It is made clear that, if any difficulties are caused by the counter parties in future, the 2nd respondent is directed to provide adequate police protection to protect the petitioner's life and his labourers for the peaceful continuation of the laying of roads in the Gudalur region based on the petitioner's complaint.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
