Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's son Azhagar @ Valarntha Azhagar, son of Dharmaraj, CT.No.6921, aged 41 years, now confined at Central Prison-1, Puzhal, Chennai in solitary confinement and further direct the respondents to provide proper medical treatment and food without any ill treatment and harassment in prison.

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J] This petition has been filed by petitioner/mother of the detenu viz., Azhagar @ Valarntha Azhagar, aged about 41 years, Son of Dharmaraj, who is now confined at Central Prison-1, Puzhal, Chennai, seeking a direction to respondents to provide proper medical treatment and food without any ill-treatment and harassment in prison.

2. We have heard learned counsel for petitioner as also learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents.

3. Recording the submission of learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the convict prisoner viz., Azhagar @ Valarntha Azhagar will be afforded 'A' class facilities and he is not being subjected to solitary confinement, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
