CR.NO.RC.8/E/2008/CBI/EOW Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to further extend the time of one month to deposit the second installment of a sum of Rs.4.00 lakhs as the condition imposed by this Honourable Court in Crl.M.P.No.6968 of 2018 in Crl.M.P.No.15548/2018 Crl.A.No.293/2018 dated 20.11.2018 and pass such further or other orders.[CRL.MP.NO.17974/2018] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.J.RAMESH Advocate Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SRINIVASAN SPECIAL PUBLIC PROSECUTOR FOR CBI CASES,on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This application is filed to grant extension of time granted to the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.15548 of 2018 in Crl.M.P.No.6968 of 2018 in Crl.A.No.293 of 2018 dated 20.11.2018.
2. This Court had, by an earlier order dated 10.09.2018, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.12 Lakhs in three installments. Out of the total sum of Rs.12 lakhs, the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.4 lakhs at the time of executing the surety bond before he trial Court and second installment of Rs.4 lakhs shall be deposited by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of execution of surety bond and the third installment of Rs.4 lakhs shall be deposited, within another period of two months from the date of payment of second installment.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that unable to raise the funds, the petitioner is unable to pay the second and third installments. He would further submit that by order dated 20.11.2018 this Court was gracious enough to extend the period of four weeks and he would submit that if two more weeks is given, he would pay the entire balance amount of Rs.8 lakhs and that he would also undertake that if the amount is not paid within a period of two weeks, the bail may be automatically cancelled.

4. The learned Special Public Prosecutor for CBI would submit that the respondent is taking steps for cancellation the bail for non compliance of order and would further submit if the petitioner complies with the order, by paying the amount within a period of two weeks, they have no objection and in default, the bail may be cancelled.
5. Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Public Prosecutor, this petition is ordered and the time is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to make the balance payment of Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight lakhs) in one installment. -sd/- 05/02/2019 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
