PRAYER:

Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct the dance program at Musaravakkam Village Kottai Mariamman Thiruvizha on 22.01.2019 and subsequently the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2018 at 51/13, Anaikal Natham, Anaikalpuram, Musaravakkam Village & Post, Kanchipuram Taluk & District.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation for conducting the dance program at Musaravakkan Village Kottai Mariamman Thiruvizha on 22.01.2019.

2. According to the petitioner, the villagers proposed to conduct a dance program in Arulmigu Kottai Mariamman Koil festival, for which, they made a representation dated 11.12.2018 before the respondent. But, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances, since the representation is pending with the respondent, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2018 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 11.01.2019.

4. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
