O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.06.2018 seeking issuance of a housing patta with respect to the subject property, which is classified as Gramanatham Poromboke.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that since the representation is dated 14.06.2018, after a period of seven years, it cannot be considered and, if the petitioner submits a fresh representation, the respondents will consider and pass orders on the same.

3. In view of the same, the petitioner is given liberty to submit a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such representation is submitted, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter. It is made clear that if the subject property is vacant, it cannot be considered for issuance of Patta.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed with the above directions. No costs.
