ORDER

[Order of the court was made by Justice M.M.SUNDRESH] The detenue - S.Ritheka is is a minor. The petitioner is the father of the detenue. As the detenue's whereabouts was not known, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. As we were not satisfied with the investigation, earlier, we had issued a further direction and pursuant to the orders of this court, the detenue has been secured and produced in court. On enquiry, the detenue has informed us that she would go along with her father, the petitioner herein. In such view of the matter, we permit the petitioner to have the custody of the detenue. However, as directed by us earlier, the Assistant Commissioner of Police shall proceed with the investigation further.

3. In the result, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed accordingly.
