Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to issue a direction to the Hon'ble I Additional Family Court, Chennai to decide M.C.No.259 of 2014 expeditiously and dispose of the same within such as stipulated time.
For petitioner :

ORDER
The above Civil Revision Petition is filed for a limited purpose of direction in I Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of maintenance case filed by the petitioner who are the minor daughter and wife of the respondent.
2.From a perusal of the A-Diary extracts, it is seen that the respondent is not actively participated in the proceedings and the matter is being adjourned time and again. The maintenance case is being filed because of the fact that the minor daughter and the wife are left with no succour, as the bread winner of the family has deserted them. In such cases, the Family Court ought to be more compassionate and ensure that the proceedings are not deliberately adjourned to the advantage of the husband.
3.In view of the above, a direction is given to the I Additional Family Court to dispose of M.C. No.259 of 2014 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Considering the fact that the MC has been filed as early as in the year 2014. The above Civil Revision Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
