PRAYER To direct the 1 st respondent to file the charge sheet in Crime No.6 of 2016, before the Special Court constituted under TNPID Act, Madurai so as to cause the criminal proceedings to take its own course against the company and its erstwhile Directors as ordered by the Hon'ble 1 st Bench of Madras High Court within a time frame fixed by this Court and thereby enable the petitioners to avail their remedy as per the Act.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) It is brought to the notice of this Court that final report has already been filed in CC.No.9 of 2019 on the file of Special Court for TNPID cases at Madurai. Investigating Officer is going to file an additional charge sheet soon.

2. Learned Additional Advocate General would submit that the Investigating Officer is ready to get along with the trial.

3. That being so, no further orders are required in the present Criminal

Original Petition. The Trial Court is requested to dispose of the criminal case as expeditiously as possible by giving priority since 12,38,000 complainants are waiting for several years to get back their hard earned money invested in the accused finance companies.
