This is an appeal against conviction, preferred by the appellant/sole accused, against the judgment dated 08.04.2013, passed by the VI Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chennai, in Sessions Case No.594 of 2010, convicting the accused https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

under Section 302 of IPC and sentencing him to undergo imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/-, in default, to undergo Simple Imprisonment for three months. 2.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant would submit that the appellant died in an accident and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. The same is recorded. 3.

In view of the same, the appeal is dismissed as abated.
