Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to to transfer the petitioner's husband/detenu, namely, Vairamuthu @ Vairam, son of Deivasigamani, aged about 35 years, now confined at Central Prison, Salem to Central Prison, Vellore and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents. 2.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu Vairamuthu @ Vairam, Son of Deivasigamani, was released on 27.02.2014 as per the order of this Court in HCP No.2010/2013 dated 25.02.2014. In support of his contention, he has produced a copy of the letter addressed by the Superintendent of Central Prison, Salem-7 to the Registrar, High Court of Madras, Chennai104, wherein it has been stated that this petition has to be dismissed as infructuous.

3.Recording the above said letter, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
