O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records of the second respondent relating to Na.Ka.No.A2/75407/10 dated 20.06.2011and Ref.No.A2/29007/2011 dated 16.08.2011, quash the same and for consequential direction to the first respondent to count petitioner's service from the date of getting special grade or to relax the adhoc rule of Tamil Nadu Forest Service Rule 4(2), in which the qualifying service is fixed as 8 years for promotion to the post of Assistant Conservator of forest for 3 years for those who have completed 25 years of service in the Forester Cadre.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that nothing survives in this petition and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect.

3. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners that nothing survives in this petition, this Writ Petition is dismissed as

infructuous. No costs.
