O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint, dated 19.02.2018 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the letter submitted by the complainant as well as the accused, in which it is stated that the petitioner/complainant and the accused have agreed to settle the issue between them and further, he submitted that by recording the said statement made by the parties, the compliant was closed as 'further action dropped' on 19.02.2018.

4. Recording the above said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law, if necessary.
