ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 of I.P.C., in Crime No. 181 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused had committed theft of Motor Pump from the agricultural field of the de-facto complainant. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been implicated in this case only based on the confession statement of the co-accused. Hence, he seeks for anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender and even against whom, there are three previous cases, which were registered by the respondent police in Crime No.142 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 294 (b), 341, 392 and 506(ii) IPC; Crime No.112 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC; and Crime No.133 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 341 and 506(ii) IPC. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail. 5.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6.Taking into consideration the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
