Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No. 35 of 2019 pending before the first respondent police (The Inspector of Police, Thondi Police Station, Ramanathapuram District) and quash all the further proceedings as against the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 35 of 2019 pending before the first respondent police as against the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation has been completed and final report has also been filed the same has been taken cognizance in C.C. No. 2 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be issued to the trial Court to complete the trial, within a specified period that may be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvadanai is directed to complete the trial in C.C. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No. 2 of 2020, within a period of Four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
