This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking compensation for the death of the husband of the petitioner on 29.11.2020 on the land of Palmani consequent to electrocution suffered by him. A First Information Report in Crime No.266 of 2020 was registered for the offence under Section 304A IPC.

2. It would only be advisable for the petitioner to file a suit seeking compensation and establish that quantum of compensation which is payable to the petitioner herein from the date of death i.e on 29.11.2020. The petitioner may have to file necessary suit within the period of limitation before the competent civil court. 2/4
