Heard Mr.K.Mahendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Ayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
2.Subject matter of the writ petition is lands comprised in Survey No. 49 (New Survey No. 49/1A-(1.01.5), 49/1B-(1.00.5)) an extent of 0.29.1/16 cent, Survey No. 65/2 (New Survey No.65/2A/2B) an extent of 0.24.7/16 cent and Survey No. 66 an extent of 0.17.1/16 cent of Veerapandi Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District. 3.The writ petitioner states that he has given a representation dated 05.03.2018 to third respondent i.e., https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
jurisdictional Tahsildar with a prayer for survey (Athumal document) pertaining to the aforesaid lands.
4.The complaint of the writ petitioner is that his aforesaid representation dated 05.03.2018 remains unattended and on that basis he seeks mandamus.
5. Learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents submits that the representation of the writ petitioner dated 05.03.2018 can be considered and disposed of after giving opportunity and notice to all concerned. 6.Based on the aforesaid submissions, respondents 3 and 4 i.e, the Tahsildar and the Taluk Surveyor, Theni District are directed to dispose of the aforesaid representation of the writ petitioner dated 05.03.2018 in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving opportunity to persons concerned / interested, if any. 7.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
