ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1074 of 2020 and to file final report within a stipulated time.

2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and would submit that the investigation in Crime No.1074 of 2020 of Kumbakonam police station is almost completed and sought one month time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, the respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and to file a final report/referred charge sheet as the case may be in Crime No.1074 of 2020 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order. 4.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
