When the matter was listed on 12.07.2022, the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the matter has already been settled, however, there was no representation for the appellants. Therefore, the appeal was directed to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'.

Today, the learned counsel for the appellants submitted that the matter has been settled, but however, no memo has been filed. Even the appellants' counsel has also not made any endorsement. If at all the matter is settled, they could have filed a memorandum of compromise. So, it clearly shows that the appellants are not interested to prosecute the appeal.
