ORDER
The petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Cr.No.25 of 2025 on the file of the 3rd respondent to any other agency.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 21.02.2025, certain persons had damaged the banana trees standing in the petitioner's agricultural land. In this regard, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 22.02.2025, assessing the damage at Rs.42,000/-, pursuant to which an FIR in Crime No.25 of 2025 came to be registered on the same day. However, there has been no progress in the investigation so far.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the investigation is still pending.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation conducted by the third respondent and the third respondent is directed to conclude the investigation within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
