Gunaseelan Muthiah, Additional Government Pleader for the Appellant and of Mr. V.Janakiramulu, Advocate for the respondents, this Court having stood over for consideration till this day, doth order and decree as follows:- 1.That the award and decree dated 18.04.2005 made by the Land Acquisition Claims Tribunal/Additional District Judge - cum - Fast Track Court No.4, Madurai at Periyakulam in LAOP. No. 6 of 1996 be and hereby are confirmed and this Appeal Suit is dismissed;

2. That the appellant be and hereby is directed to deposit the entire compensation along with interest within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;
