JUDGMENT

This appeal has been preferred by the Land Acquisition Officer challenging the award of the Tribunal in L.A.O.P.No.1 of 2001.

2.This appeal has been preferred as against the determination of market value for the acquired lands belonged to the claimant / respondent at the rate of Rs.800/- per cent. In respect of other lands covered by the same notification, this Court has determined the market value at the rate of Rs.600/- per cent. The lands belong to the respondent in this case is similar, in quality and other features, to the lands which are the subject matter of the appeals in A.S.Nos.84 and 85 of 2013. Hence, this appeal is also allowed. However, the award of the Land Acquisition Tribunal in L.A.O.P. No.1 of 2001, dated 22.09.2005 is set aside and the compensation for the lands belong to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent which are the subject matter of this appeal is reduced from Rs.800/- per cent to Rs.600/- per cent, as it has been held in other cases.

3.This appeal is allowed to the extent indicated above. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
