PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to revise and re-fix the petitioner's salary and pay the arrears of Salary, Annual Increments and other monetary benefits to the petitioner on completion of punishments by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2024 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Conductor of the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking a Mandamus as against the second respondent to revise and re-fix the petitioner's salary and pay arrears of Salary, Annual Increments and other monetary benefits based upon his representation dated 13.11.2024.

2. It could be seen from the records that the petitioner has been imposed with 12 punishments which got concluded on 17.05.2024. All the punishments are postponement of increment without cumulative effect ranging from one Month to six months.

3. According to the petitioner, all the punishments have been completed and therefore, the petitioner's salary has to be revised and his annual increments have to be paid. To the said effect, the petitioner has given a representation to the second respondent on 13.11.2024. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 13.11.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
