O R D E R

The present Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the Management challenging the order passed by the Labour Court, Tirunelveli, in I.A.No.5 of 2024 in I.D.No.34 of 2023.

2. The said industrial dispute has been raised by the respondent Union seeking to implement the settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, dated 12.09.2018.

3. The present I.A.No.5 of 2024 has been filed by the Union seeking a direction as against the Management for production of certain documents to establish the rights of the workman. Out of several documents that were sought to be produced, the Labour Court has directed the Management for production of document Nos.1, 2, 4 and 5. Challenging the said order, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed.

4. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner Management, unless the locus standi of the Union is established, the documents cannot be called for from the Management. 2/5

5. This Court has already disposed of C.R.P(MD) No.59 of 2025 with the observation that the locus standi of the Union shall be decided as a preliminary issue. In case, if the preliminary issue is decided in favour of the workman, the petitioner Management is directed to comply with the orders passed in I.A.No.5 of 2024.

6. With the above said observation, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
