CRIME NO.1770/2020. RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT/ COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the conditions stipulated by this Hon`ble court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.13788/2020 dated 02.12.2020 to the petitioner/Accused No.1 in Crime No.1770/2020 on the file of the Respondent police. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.BASKAR MATHURAM, Advocate for M/S.MATHURAM LAW ASSOCIATES,Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.V.CHANDRASEKARAN, Government Advocate(criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to modify the conditions imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P(MD) No.

13788 of 2020 dated 02.12.2020. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner was granted bail on 02.12.2020, due to the condition that "on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two blood sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Orathanadu, Thanjavur District", he is unable to enjoy the fruits of the bail order. The learned counsel further submitted that since the petitioner's marriage was intercaste marriage, he and his wife were excommunicated from his community, due to which, he is unable to produce the blood sureties and hence he is still in confinement.

CRL MP(MD) No.63 of 2021 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that he has no objection to allow the petitioner to produce normal sureties.

4. Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the condition that the petitioner, instead of producing blood sureties, he is permitted to produce two normal sureties and there is no modification in rest of the conditions imposed upon the petitioner in earlier.

5.Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
