PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the entire records in detention order No. 62/BCDFGISSSV/2023, dated 08.12.2023, on the file of the second respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the petitioner's husband, namely, Abdul Kathar, son of Mydeen Pitchai, aged about 34 years, now confined in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. 62/BCDFGISSSV/2023, dated 08.12.2023, passed by the second respondent, has been revoked by the Advisory Board vide G.O.Rt.No.357, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 19.01.2024 and to that effect, he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order before this Court.
