This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation and file the Final Report in Cr.No.141 of 2021 on the file of Thottiyam Police Station, Trichy District, as expeditiously within stipulated time fixed by this Court.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent submitted that after completing the enquiry, the Final Report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thottiyam by way of efiling in No.C202600024 on 07.01.2026. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.
